We are delighted to welcome and share the success story of Sam Head, a Cardiff University student currently taking a year out to explore new opportunities. Sam has recently embarked on an exciting journey with PE Direct and has already secured a full-time, long-term role as a teaching assistant at Willows High School.
Introduced to PE Direct through a friend, Sam expressed a keen interest in pursuing an education role during his break. Reflecting on his experience after his first week, Sam shared, “Through PE Direct, I’ve managed to gain the teacher’s assistant role at a local high school in Cardiff. The ability to work collaboratively with students and teachers to overcome challenges is a great learning opportunity. The role is very rewarding as you are helping and watching the next generation evolve into young adults.”
Sam is thriving in his new role and his enthusiasm and dedication have already made a positive impact with Willows High School. They said, “Sam appears to be settling in well and has received some favourable feedback from teachers. I’m so glad Sam likes Willows – I thought he was fantastic.”
