Here, we met Rob Edwards from Dylan Thomas Community School in Swansea to discuss working together in the future. Rob was kind enough to meet us at the end of a busy day of teaching and what struck us was his commitment to the school. In particular, it was the approach to positive behaviour management that impressed us most at Dylan Thomas.
Rob said ‘behaviour management starts with building positive relationships from the start’. He went on to say that praise and encouragement were favoured over sanctions at Dylan Thomas. Well done Rob and Dylan Thomas Community School for providing a progressive, positive and nurturing environment!’
