This week, we are celebrating Liam’s remarkable success at Eastern High School. Liam, a graduate of the University of South Wales (USW) with a background in football coaching and administration, has been working consistently with us since November 2024. What initially started as day-to-day cover work at Eastern High School, has now blossomed into a more longer-term position due to his exceptional performance, hard work, and dedication.
Liam’s ability to seamlessly step into his current role within the PE department has been a true testament to his skill set and adaptability. Initially hired for day-to-day cover, he quickly built strong relationships with students and staff alike, proving himself to be a valued asset to the school. His professionalism, enthusiasm, and passion for both teaching and coaching have consistently earned positive feedback, and as a result, he was offered a more longer-term role to cover a staff absence.
Liam shared his thoughts on the experience:
“Working as a PE Cover Supervisor at Eastern High School has been very enjoyable. It has allowed me to both develop my teaching and further develop my coaching skills within a variety of sports, all whilst gaining more valuable experience in a very welcoming environment.”
Liam’s background in football coaching means that he brings a unique insight and fresh approach to both the classroom and the sports field, benefiting both students and colleagues alike.
We are incredibly proud of Liam’s continued growth and success and look forward to supporting his career development as he continues to thrive in his role with us at Eastern High School.
