PE Direct has marked a defining year in its journey as the leading specialist agency for PE and ALN education across South Wales. From developing future educators to securing impactful careers for talented individuals, the 2024–25 academic year has been rich with achievement.
Empowering Educators of Tomorrow
One of the agency’s proudest accomplishments has been nurturing the development of aspiring teachers. Ten members of the PE Direct team are heading into the next chapter of their careers by beginning their PGCEs an inspiring testament to PE Directs commitment to supporting professional growth.
From Agency to Permanent Posts
Sixteen PE Direct staff have been offered full-time contracts with the very schools they supported this year. This milestone reflects not only their talent and dedication, but also the trust and appreciation they’ve earned from headteachers and pupils alike.
Partnering with Universities
PE Direct also played a pivotal role in bridging the gap between academia and practice by providing placements to 24 university students. These immersive experiences have empowered undergraduates to step into the classroom with confidence, making a real difference in children’s lives.
Expanding Horizons
The impact reaches far beyond the classroom. Ten individuals who gained experience through PE Direct have now secured roles across a diverse range of industries demonstrating how transferable skills developed in specialist settings can lead to rewarding careers well outside of education.
