Rob Davies has had many jobs in his career ranging from working in pubs and restaurants to security and even working as a builder. He has always been drawn to working with children and in 2010 landed himself a part time role of School and Community Coach for Rugby League Wales. This was when I first met Rob whilst I was Head of PE. What struck me most about Rob was his passion to make a difference to the lives of young people through Rugby League. I met Rob again at USW last year where he had decided to study a sports degree, full time which was a courageous move. Rob worked part time for PE Direct whilst studying and now he has completed his degree, Rob has secured his first full time position at Llanwern High School through PE Direct. It just goes to show that it is never too late to change career and to follow your dreams. Well done Rob, top man!
