And they need to have the confidence and initiative to walk into an unfamiliar classroom and just get on with it.
PE teachers and sports graduates have all these skills. They are generally resilient, sociable, positive and energetic – all the well-being benefits that come with regular physical activity. These qualities also make them very positive role models for children, in particular those with BESD.

HOW WE SUPPORT OUR STAFF WHEN THEY’RE IN YOUR SCHOOL
We’re always available if you or our staff need to contact us. Otherwise, we’ll leave you to take care of their day-to-day management. We understand you’re busy and have your own systems in place, so you don’t need any unnecessary bureaucracy or involvement from us.
However, when you have staff on long-term placement, we will call you once a week to make sure everything is OK.
