During her time with us, Elle has worked as a PE/General Cover Supervisor in many of our schools across South Wales. She has always been punctual, polite, professional and reliable, and is often requested by many schools. One school in particular, Bedwas High School, have taken Elle on a long-term position covering English. Elle was provided with details of the class, along with the work that needed covering. However, Elle took it upon herself to become more teacher like, than a cover supervisor. She planned lessons in her free time, set targets for the class, completed mock exam preparation tasks, along with leaving any cover work for a supply in her absence.
Elle’s practice includes engaging all pupils throughout the lesson, by setting different tasks to match a variety of abilities. She has completed this by building a rapport with the students and having realistic approach, allowing her to get to know all pupils. This also enables her to suppress any challenging behaviour or situations that can arise when teaching.
